I always get a bit sad when Christmas is coming along. Sure, I like to be with my loved ones, but I also feel extremely awkward in Peru with their different (Catholic) traditions. It has less meaning to me. It is not my tradition. I feel out of place most of the time.  On top of that, the shopping-craze with crowds in department stores and supermarkets always gets me in a bad mood.
